My passion for activism has always been the intrinsic driving force in my life. I know first-hand that adolescents, feel the greatest engagement when we are directly involved in innovating community projects that reflect our experiences and needs.
L.I.G.H.T. focuses on empowering marginalized youth who have the innovative and activist capabilities, but lack the opportunities, access to resources and support to follow through. Marginalized youth are born into adversity without their asking and together, we can help them transcend barriers.
